It has a picture that is crystal clear, and despite the screen being 7" compared to my laptops 17" screen, I actually prefer watching movies on my kindle! It is quick and convenient, I can sync my Kindle with my Google and Amazon accounts, which makes searches and purchases a breeze. The only issue that I have had with my Kindle is that one day it froze. It just stopped, the screen didn't respond to anything, it wouldn't lock, and I couldn't even turn it off. By accident I discovered that I could reboot it by pressing and holding the power button for about 10 full seconds. When I turned it back on it was working fine. I would recommend this product to anyone.
